[comic strip sample]

So you want to know a little more about me?

As you can see, I like drawing comic strips although I'm not a professional cartoonist. It's fun and gives me something to do with the gags and puns that I have been carrying around in my head. The sample above comes from the Limpidity comic strip that I publish solely on the Internet.

Yes, I did draw comics when I was much younger. There were mostly human characters with the exception of one that was a superhero chicken, I think. (My parents tell me it was a duck.) Then after that I hardly drew anything for about ten years partly because I didn't have too many ideas and partly because I wasn't good yet at writing humor. (Today, I'm still not very funny but I'm nuts so I don't know that. Heh.) Also, I was much worse at drawing back then, if that is possible.

My vocation is computer programming. Currently, I work at SyncSort. (No mice were harmed in the production of the SyncSort web page. :-) Whoops, it seems they changed the page. Well, the old page had an image map with a picture of a mouse using a balloon to bypass a maze and get to a piece of cheese.) I live in Montvale in Bergen County, New Jersey, about 17 miles northwest from New York City.

I am 6 feet and an inch tall, and weigh 250 pounds. I am a single male and 27 years old. (a lethal combination?) You can find out when I turn 28 by visiting this page on the World Birthday Web. I was born in the port town of Grimsby, UK. (That is a British page so it really wasn't updated on the seventh day in the month of Dodehexember, okay? :) Petrol is what we call gas or gasoline, not a misspelling of the last name of that loud short guy with big ears. Just kidding!) I have no brothers and no sisters, making me, in theory, an independent loner.

As for my education, I graduated, majoring in Computer Science, from the Columbia University SEAS in the class of 1995.

Still want to know more?

I like to watch the X-Files but other than that I'm frankly bored with television. My favorite album currently is Reel Life by Boy Meets Girl. (Don't ask me why. I have mundane tastes.) I drive a Saturn SL with manual transmission. I have a plush fox and a plush skunk. I have won Riddle du Jour twice and Riddler four times. I can swim but can do only the backstroke. During summer weekends, I travel to distant locations in New Jersey in search of new malls, beaches, and parks. I have a bag of big clam shells from a beach on Long Beach Island. My computer (Dell 486DX/50) is three years old and runs both Linux 2.0 and Windows 95. The monitor, floppy drive, and keyboard have all been replaced. (I wonder why this $15 keyboard is more durable than the one supplied by Dell.) I like Breyer's All-Natural ice cream and ripe cantaloupes but not together.

Still not enough???

Help!!! A stalker!!

But seriously, please send me e-mail if you'd like to correspond.

And finally, here are some pictures of me, from newest to oldest:
